I view painting as solving the issue between light and dark space and how they relate to each other. When painting a landscape, still life, or studying the figure, I’m painting the light. Without light we would not be able to see anything, so light is my subject. By painting the light, the image reveals itself. ; EDUCATIONTyler School of Art, BFA, Teaching Certification, 1980Advertising major, photography minorMoore College of Art, Computer Design Certificate, 1997Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art (PAFA), Master classes ;
